Our fees & flexible payment options
Our fees are set to reflect the individualized attention, professional expertise, and the unique convenience of in-home services that Healing Mind and Heart provides. We aim for transparency so you can focus on your healing journey with peace of mind. My counseling fees are consistent with private practice standards across Ontario and reflect the time, preparation, and individualized care provided in each session. Because I provide in-home services, my rates may fall within the mid-to-upper end of this range to reflect the added convenience and travel involved.

As an in-home practice, travel within my primary service area may be included in the session fee or may involve a modest additional travel charge depending on distance. This will always be discussed transparently during the initial consultation so there are no unexpected costs.
Payment methods & making therapy accessible
We strive to make quality mental health support accessible. Clients can easily pay for their sessions through e-transfer or cash, with payment typically due at the time of the session unless otherwise discussed. I understand that financial considerations can sometimes make starting therapy feel challenging. In certain circumstances, I may offer a limited number of sliding scale spaces based on financial need. If cost is a concern, I encourage clients to discuss this during the consultation so we can explore available options tailored to your situation.
Our cancellation & rescheduling policy
We understand that unexpected situations arise and schedules can change. To ensure fairness and respect for everyone's time, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be subject to the full session fee. This policy helps protect the time reserved specifically for you and allows me the opportunity to offer that time to another client in need of support. If there is an emergency or unavoidable circumstance, please communicate with us as soon as possible. We approach these situations with understanding while also maintaining clear professional boundaries. Our goal at Healing Mind and Heart is to be respectful of your time, while ensuring fairness and consistency in our practice.
